Making Tax Digital Compliance (MTD)

VAT Returns

From April 2022 Making Tax Digital for VAT applies for nearly all VAT-registered businesses. Due to ‘Making Tax Digital’ VAT returns must be kept digitally in functional, compatible software.

Additionally, I’ll keep your records complete and up to date and correctly calculate the VAT you pay or can reclaim from HMRC.

And I’ll submit your monthly, quarterly, or yearly returns on time, every time.

Preparation for MTD Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA)

I can advise your business on Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment.

April 2026 MTD for Income Tax is mandated for self-employed (sole traders) businesses and landlords with a combined income above £50,000.

April 2027 MTD for Income Tax applies to self-employed (sole traders) businesses and landlords with a combined income above £30,000.
